City: Oakland, CA
There's a trail in the woods (Oakland has redwoods?) that's topped with Merritt. Can you tell me it's name? It's not new, it's not old, it's just "the <blank> trail".
It's chock full of ferns and redwoods, foot bridges, fallen timber, and a stream (in spring and early summer) and precarious side tracks.
If you know this place, share with us how you discovered it or any other story about it.
I will happily reveal the trail name and location in a week if no one posts the right answer, and confirm same if anyone gets it right. I look forward to hearing from fellow urban explorers.
